Description:
Eagle Days is heading to the Pueblo Creative Corridor and the First Friday Art Walk.

Friday, February 6: Eagle Day Photo Contest & Kickoff Party 5 pm to 9 pm at Old Towne Carriage House overlooking the Historic Arkansas Riverwalk

5:00 pm: Event starts with photo contest entries on display. Browse the photos and vote for your favorite. Appetizers and a cash bar will be available.

7:00 pm: Photo Contest winners will be announced and keynote speaker, Stephanie Arne from Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom will talk about her adventures with wildlife.

Lake Pueblo State Park will host the traditional Saturday Eagle Day events.

Saturday, February 7: Classic Eagle Day Events at the Park at Lake Pueblo State Park Visitor Center and West Fishing viewing area

ALL DAY: Wildlife viewing trailer with scopes at West Fishing

Visitor Center events are 9 am to 3 pm. Snacks & lunch items available for sale

9:00 am: Doors Open at Lake Pueblo State Park Visitor Center

ALL DAY: Displays, Live Birds & Animals, Kids Activities, Viewing Scopes​

9:30 am in the auditorium: Diana Miller will introduce you to some of the resident birds at the Nature and Raptor Center of Pueblo.​

10:00 am in the auditorium: Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom Wild Guide, Stephanie Arne will inspire young and old to explore the many careers around wildlife.

11:30 am near the front lawn: United States Air Force Academy cadets mascot Falcon Flight Demonstration and Meet & Greet. Demonstration is weather dependent.

11:45 am in the auditorium: Black-Footed Ferrets – Back From the Brink with local CPW Biologist, Ed Schmal​

12:00 pm near the front lawn: Kids Meet the Mascots – Eddie the Eagle, Hooter, Talon, Elbert and Smokey Bear.

1:00 pm in the auditorium: Native American Dancers

3:00 pm at West Fishing on the north side of the park. Rehabilitated raptor release back to the wild with Diana Miller and NRCP staff. Travel time is approximately 15 minutes and maps are available at the Visitor Center.

Sunday, February 8: Eagle Day Open House at Nature and Raptor Center of Pueblo

10:00 am: Driving Eagle Tour – Space is limited and pre-registration is required. Call NRCP for details (719)549-2414
11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Nature and Raptor Center Open House. See residents birds, including bald eagles!
