The Artists' Gallery, 416 Main St., Historic Downtown Canon City, invites the public to our monthly "First Friday" art reception on February 6th from 5-8 p.m. Three of our extraordinary artists will be featured at the gallery throughout the month:

Respected local artist, Linda Roper has been painting for over 33 years, working in a variety of mediums. She also has a passion for photography and receives inspiration for her work from all of creation. In addition, she loves teaching and encouraging others in expressing themselves in the Arts.

Talented jewelry artist, Laraine Wright, weaves impossibly tiny seed beads into colorful, easy-to-wear, Southwest-inspired bracelets, earrings and necklaces, incorporating her own original patterns. Each piece a wearable work of art!

To photographer, Robin Riddle, both the Colorado landscape and its wildlife are a constant influence in her work. She is compelled to observe, learn and artistically capture wildlife in their natural surroundings, motivated by the pure beauty of nature untouched by human influence.

Join us to meet the artists, listen to live guitar music performed by member artist and woodworker, Paul Enockson, and enjoy complimentary refreshments.
