Susan Rissman will be joining Blazz on the Stargazers stage for a night of blues, jazz, and cabaret style music!

Susan Rissman has been one of the principal female vocalists in Colorado Springs for more than 20 years. She's toured the country as primary vocalist for "Tiny Barge and the Big Chill" numerous times and has played virtually every major (and minor) venue on the Colorado Springs music scene. She is currently the featured voice on Thursday nights at Ricos with John Wise and Tim Zahn. Her voice is one part ripping blues diva, one part broken princess, one part folk mistress and one part "Scat", Queen of Springs Funk. Trying her hand at songwriting for the first time, she is writer or co-writer on 3 songs on the disc "Driving" and creative visionary on numerous others.

Blazz is a tasty blend of Kansas City style blues and swinging jazz. Comprised of Colorado Springs standouts Rob Landreth (guitar and vocals), John Wise (bass and vocals), Jana Lee Ross (keys and vocals), and Teddy Nazario (drums and percussion), this red-hot band promises to deliver high energy music that will have you up on your feet dancing the night away.
