In her lifelong quest to learn as much as she could about painting, artist Jan Fead, discovered a class called "Head Construction and Painting." She took the class repeatedly, developing the skills of a fine portrait artist. These skills applied to painting animals, as well, and she found herself painting commissioned portraits of pets as often as of people. Additionally, Jan teaches workshops in oils, pastels, watercolors and acrylics, desiring to share what she struggled so long to master.

Born and raised in Idaho, painter, Cathey Young, was mesmerized by the Snake River. Riding horses, exploring the river islands and swimming in the shallow ponds consumed most of her child hood summers. Now the Arkansas River currently provides a wonderful inspiration for her art work and she is sharing her "river love" with others through her paintings. She is fascinated by the light playing off the water, shadows and reflections creating their own watery world, and beautifully recreates these serene images on canvas.

John and Mary O'Brien have developed a distinctive line of artisan goat milk soaps and lotions under the "Sweet Cakes" label. All of their items are meticulously handcrafted in small batches using the freshest milk from their own goats and the finest quality oils and butters available. Only organic, fair trade and sustainably harvested ingredients are thoughtfully incorporated into their enormously popular products. An art unto itself!
