St. Peter the Apostle Episcopal Church will give rice and beans packets to those in need from 9 to 11 a.m. today at the front entrance of the church.
The public also is invited to St. Peter's Easter Vigil, beginning at sundown, or approximately 8 p.m., to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus with special Holy Communion worship. Gospel and traditional music will feature Fireweed and Ken Butcher. There will light refreshments afterward.
St. Peter's Easter service will be at 8 a.m. and there will be no 10 a.m. worship.
