The 12th annual Spank Blasing 5K/10K Run & Fun Walk promotes a healthy family lifestyle, exercise, fitness, and higher education. The entry fee includes an official race gift, goodie bag, complimentary post-event Aquafina water and Gatorade, as well as a free breakfast burrito, and a free Miller Lite (for those 21 and older).

The 5K & 10K run, and two-mile walk is conducted around the CSU-Pueblo campus and the Belmont neighborhood and ends with a final lap around the Neta & Eddie DeRose ThunderBowl. This year's race will take place on Saturday, April 19, 2014 and begin at 8:30am.
