Sue Davis, owner of Designs by Qzitz, has been evolving in jewelry design for over 15 years. Early on she noted that some of the individual stones she used, though spectacular, were getting lost in the overall designs. She ventured into the technique of wire-wrapping special stones to emphasize their distinctive characteristics, and found it was a marvelous way to let each "jewel" shine on its own. Recently she has incorporated the complex, time-consuming technique of chain maille into her designs and will demonstrate the process for our guests! Sue's one-of-a-kind creations are especially coveted by trendy jewelry-lovers to accentuate a casual personal style.

Diversely talented artist, Priscilla Leese, migrated to southern Colorado over 20 years ago, and was forever captivated by the awe-inspiring imagery of the southwest. Since moving to the mountain village of Beulah, Priscilla's artistic inspiration is reflected in her vivid mixed-media work. With a focus on acrylics, she creates impressionist, abstract, collage, and tile art. Even her exquisite photography is incorporated into mixed media! She will be unveiling four new "Tile Art Collage on Board" compositions to showcase her artistry.

As a special attraction, there will be a wonderful photographic exhibit, entitled "Home on the Range", presented by member artist, Robin Riddle. With over 50 local artists represented at The Artists' Gallery (voted Canon City's Favorite Art Gallery in 2015), guests will be dazzled by the varied array of quality art and gifts offered! Hint: think Mother's Day....
