The Pueblo Children's Chorale will hold its 20th season spring concert, "20TH Anniversary" at 3 p.m. on Saturday, May 7th, 2016 in Hoag Hall at Colorado State University - Pueblo.
The spring concert will be an uplifting showcase of music and selections will include: "Homeward Bound", "In Flander's Fields", "Clouds" and "You've Got a Friend in Me" from the Disney/Pixar movie "Toy Story" that is also celebrating its' 20th Anniversary this year. The Chorale has also been selected to sing at Disneyland on June 12th, 2016. A great end to a terrific season!
The Chorale will also welcome back former Concert Choir Director, Jennifer Shadle, to direct "Prayer for Today" and Co-Founder Christine Reed to direct "Hava Nashira". Taylor Kenney, recent winner of Pueblo's Got Talent, will be featured during the concert and she will sing her winning solo.
Tickets for the concert cost $5.00 for all seats and will be available at the door the day of the performance or can be purchased ahead of time from Chorale singers.
The Pueblo Children's Chorale Concert Choir is under the direction of Mr. Brook Mead and Associate Director, Zachary Friberg and features children in the 2nd through 8th grades.
The Chorale is the Pueblo Chieftain "Best of Pueblo" Gold Winner for "Best After School Program" There will also be a silent auction before and after the concert to help the Chorale with expenses for their trip to Disneyland.
