The City of Pueblo Parks and Recreation Department is proud to announce the grand opening of El Centro del Quinto Sol Recreation Center Skate Park. Construction of the El Centro del Quinto Sol Skate Park of was completed late 2015 and is one of Colorado's premier skate park facilities. A ribbon cutting ceremony is scheduled for 10:00am Saturday, May 14, 2016 at 609 E. 6th St. Pueblo, CO 81001 with the 2016 Heroes Skate Bash Competition to follow the ceremonial activities. The competition is FREE and registration is open to all skateboarders. Skateboard competition registration forms are available at El Centro del Quinto Sol Recreation Center and at the Pueblo Parks and Recreation administrative offices at 800 Goodnight Ave. 81005. Registration space is limited. Register by May 13, 2016. Everyone is welcome to come enjoy the skateboard competition, the park, food vendors, music, and fun.
