Come to an exclusive screening of 100: Head/Heart/Feet and help raise funds for our beloved Manitou Incline and learn what's happening with the Incline Improvements as well!
We will be joined by "Sherpa" John Lacroix, who has provided this film and is a local ultra runner who appears in the film, and is the Director of the Human Potential Running Series here in Colorado. While he is not the featured runner in the movie, John is an ultra runner and he will take questions after the movie. He's the founder of "Human Potential Running" and here's a little bit more about him: Since his first ultra in 2005, "Sherpa" John Lacroix has completed nearly 50 Ultra-Distance events across the country; all the while raising thousands of dollars for various charitable causes included The American Diabetes Association, The LiveStrong Foundation, Conservation New Hampshire, The Seacoast Science Center and The Make-A-Wish Foundation of New Hampshire.

All proceeds will benefit further restoration/repair/maintenance of the Incline via the Incline Friends non-profit. Also, we will have a variety of tables set up before the show highlighting great groups and companies in the area, so come check it out!

About the film: From Hammer and Saw Films, "100: Head/Heart/Feet" follows Ultrarunner Zak Wieluns as he attempts to run The Vermont 100 Endurance Race. The film focuses on Zak's intensive training regimen and its impact on his relationships while exploring the reasons he was singularly dedicated to completing the Vermont 100 Endurance Race, one of the original 100 mile runs in the USA.

Filmed on the race's 25th anniversary, "100: Head/Heart/Feet" records the stories of handlers, pacers and crew members while exploring the friendships that motivate their preparation for this grueling race over Vermont's paved streets, gravel back roads and wooded trails...in daylight and darkness... all within a 30 hour time limit. A well-trained few complete the race; many will never cross the finish line.
