Kids FREE Science Saturday Description:
July 26 is "Chemistry Day" from 10-4.
Between 11-12 and again from 1-2, make slime and instant worms, learn about polymers, try dry ice experiments and acids versus base experiment testing various household chemicals.
If you've ever wondered what a polymer is or how a rocket flies, find out the answers to these and other questions. Science was, and still is, integral to the steelmaking process. Staff and volunteers will demonstrate and allow participants to experiment with several science wonders that are linked to the steel and mining industries.

Admission for kids to the museum and science experiments is free and open to the public; however RESERVATIONS are REQUIRED for the sessions.

Free Science Saturdays is made possible by the City of Pueblo.

The Steelworks Museum is located at 215 Canal Street in Pueblo. To register, call (719) 564-9086 x108.
