Looking for incoming 6th, 7th and 8th grade students that live in the 81004 zip code that have an interest in health and science.
The camp will be held Monday August 4th- Friday August 8th from 1-4p.m.

Program:
Each day, campers will learn about a topic of health: lung health, heart health, bone health, eye/ear/nose health, and germ science. Campers will learn through experiments, videos, inductive thinking processes, the scientific method, and lectures. Each day will also provide periods of healthy physical activity related to the topic. The camps will be facilitated by doctors, nurses, and radiology technologists from St. Mary-Corwin Medical Center. Healthy snacks will be served daily.

Requirements:
1.Youth must be able to attend all five days of camp
2.Youth must be able to work cooperatively in small groups
3.Youth must be able to take direction from all camp leaders
4.Attire must be school-appropriate
5.Youth must be free of cold, flu, or other communicable illness symptoms
6.Parents or guardians are responsible for arranging transportation so that campers arrive on time and are picked up on time


Application Process:
An informational session for parents and interested campers will be held on:

Wednesday evening, July 16 from 5:30-6:00 PM,
or
Monday, July 21 from 5:30-6 PM

Meeting will be held in the Cancer Center Conference Room
(Enter through the Dorcy Cancer Center Lobby)
