Come out for the Quartet of Jazz Death CD Release Party! Colin Trusedell is the Musical Director for the United States Air Force Academy Band's Top 40 ensemble Blue Steel and the adjunct Professor of Bass at Colorado State University - Pueblo. He is one of the most versatile upright and electric bass players in the United States in the field of jazz, fusion, pop and rock music. He is also an active writer, arranger, and bandleader. Colin's "Quartet of Jazz Death" (2014) funk/fusion project has been critically acclaimed on NoTreble.com, TalkBass.com, Bass Musician Magazine, Bass Quarterly, Bass Player Magazine and nominated for "Best Jazz Group 2015" in the Colorado Springs Independent 2015 Indie Music Awards.

Kim Stone's credits include a four year stint with east coast based Spyro Gyra. Kim has been blessed to perform with such greats as B. B. King, Richie Cole, Dave Amram, Hugh Ragin, Taj Mahal, David Benoit, Rare Silk, Henry Butler, Larry Carlton, Eric Marienthal, Javon Jackson, Barry Altschul, Jessica Williams, and Firefall. An innovative composer, Kim has had several of his songs recorded, most notably, Bob Goes to the Store, which was selected by Spyro Gyra as the featured video from their Breakout CD. This composition was such a favorite of theirs that they also included it on their release, The Best of Spyro Gyra (The First Ten Years ). In addition, Kim has received five Grammy nominations for four records with Spyro Gyra and one with Rare Silk. You do not want to miss this free show!
