CU Mini Med School Recorded Event Description:
The Southeastern Colorado Area Health Education Center (SECAHEC) in collaboration with the Pueblo City-County Library District is pleased to announce that registration is open for the 2015 CU Mini Med School: The Clinical Years (recorded event). This eight week program is presented by the University of Colorado School Of Medicine. Classes are taught by experts in their fields, who are chosen for their ability to make the technical language of medicine understandable. The purpose is to enlighten, provide a scientific background that will improve understanding of the human body, and help you take charge of your own health. The classes are FREE to the public.
The Mini Med School recorded event will be offered on Tuesday afternoons, 12-1:30 p.m., September 8, 2015 through November 3, 2015, (except September 29) at Rawlings Library Ryals Special Events Room and InfoZone. Topics include The Art of Medicine, A Day in the Life of an OB/Gyn, Understanding Your Sleep, and Understanding the Silent Killer - to name a few.
