Jake started playing music at age four playing the violin first, moved to the French horn, then quickly began to play pretty much anything he could get his hands on. At the age of 16, Jake picked up and fell in love with playing the guitar. He crafted his skills through the guidance and tutelage of his father--Lobo Loggins, a professional guitarist known throughout Colorado and Southeast Texas for his mastery of Texas-style blues.

Following in his father's footsteps, Jake has been belting out smooth vocals while ripping incredible guitar jams at thousands of shows within his musical career. He has shared the stage with many notables including Ronnie Baker Brooks, Blackfoot, Tab Benoit, Johnny Winter, Tim Reynolds, as well as many other great local musicians. Jake has won several awards for his musical talents including Independent Magazine's Best Blues of 2006, Best Band 2007, Bronze Best Guitar 2008, Best Blues of 2008-2009, Best Musician 2010, Best Blues of 2012, and Best Blues/Rock of 2011.
