American Legion Post No. 2, 701 W. Ninth St., will host a Halloween party and costume contest Oct. 31.
Social hour with refreshments will be from 6 to 8 p.m. and the Monster Mash dance will be from 8 to midnight. The live entertainment will feature Richard Baca and Sierra Gold.
There will be a best-costume prize, door prizes and drink specials. The party is open to the public.
