CU Mini Med School Recorded Event Description:
The Southeastern Colorado Area Health Education Center (SECAHEC) in collaboration with the Pueblo City-County Library District is pleased to announce that registration is open for the 2015 CU Mini Med School: The Clinical Years. This eight week recorded program is presented by the University of Colorado School of Medicine. Classes are taught by experts in their fields, who are chosen for their ability to make the technical language of medicine understandable. The purpose is to enlighten, provide a scientific background that will improve understanding of the human body, and help you take charge of your own health. The classes are FREE to the public.
The eighth Mini Med School recorded event will be offered Tuesday, Nov. 3,12-1:30 p.m. The topic will be "How Thyroid Disorders Affect Your Health and Well Being" with Michael McDermott, M.D.
