The 2014 World Aids Day event will be held at the Rawlings Library on the 4th floor on December 1 from 5:30p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
The event will feature presentations by the Pueblo Community Health Clinic, PFLAG, Southern Colorado POZ Abilities, S-CAP and members of the community. There will be a presentation of the Pueblo Aids Quilt and a history of HIV/AIDS in the community.
A Native Indian Dance group will be performing a special blessing dance. The event will close with a candlelight vigil in honor of those we have lost to this virus.
The Pueblo Aids Quilt will be on display on the 4th floor of the Library from November 24 through January 2nd.
All are welcome and the event is free. Food and drinks will be provided.
