Description:
The Childbirth Class at ACPC prepares the expectant mother and her labor partner for the birth process – teaching how to replace the tension response that occurs during labor contractions with relaxation and effective breathing techniques.
Education also assists the labor partner in providing good support, comfort, and encouragement during the birth process.
Classes are taught by a labor and delivery nurse from one of our local hospitals, allowing participants to ask questions of a professional in the field.
