Description: Talk about the fastest cats on Earth with Kate Vanelli, Conservationist, Cheetah Keeper, and Cheetah Conservation Fund (CCF) Alumni and Dionne Stein, CCF Staff Development Manager. Kate will speak about her experience as a cheetah keeper at CCF, CCF’s captive cheetahs and reintroductions, potential issues with farmers/human wildlife conflict, the livestock guardian dog program, landscape challenges to cheetahs, and how CCF works with zoos. Dionne will speak about her experience at CCF which includes tourism, CCF volunteer opportunities and how CCF is bringing hope to the cheetah with their programs. Free for member, $5 for non-members (or included with admission).
