A Sunday afternoon hike in Lake Pueblo State Park is just what you need to end your weekend. Come out for a fun afternoon and enjoy this mild weather in Colorado. We will be hiking around 4 miles total starting from the Nature and Raptor Center of Pueblo at 2 pm. If you would like to carpool we will be earlier at the Rawlings Library, please see info on that below.

There will be a moderate elevation gain from the Raptor Center to the top of the lake. Come enjoy the beauty of the forest, meet new friends, and enjoy the outdoors.

We will be carpooling from the Rawlings Library on the southeast corner of the parking lot facing Main St. (100 E Abriendo Ave, Pueblo, CO 81004) We will meet there at 1:30 pm arrive at the trailhead by 2 pm.

Fees:

There is a fee of $5 per vehicle to park at the Nature and Raptor Center, which will be paid at a kiosk. If you carpool you will be able to reduce this cost. They only accept cash or check at the kiosk. There will be no fee to enter the state park as we will be walking in.
