The eleventh Annual Western Landscape Symposium will be held Saturday, April 1, 2017. The Symposium will be held at Pueblo Community College in the Fortino Ballroom and is an all day event beginning at 9:00 a.m. The keynote speaker will be David Salman of High Country Gardens. Other session topics are composting, steppe gardens, edible natives, ten best trees, rain barrel use and legality, and insect control. View full brochure online at www.westernlandscape.org. Advance tickets are $20.00 each. Purchase tickets online, download the mail-in registration form, or purchase tickets in person (with cash or check only) at CSU Extension-Pueblo County, 701 Court Street beginning February 1, 2017. The Western Landscape Symposium is an educational forum to promote the creation of appealing and sustainable landscapes in southeastern Colorado, incorporating water wise garden practices and plants adapted to local climate and soil conditions.
