A Story of Suicide Survival Description:

Kevin Hines, suicide survivor, mental health activist, storyteller, author, and filmmaker will share his story of attempting to take his own life by jumping off the Golden Gate Bridge at age 19. Hines is one of only thirty-six to survive the fall. Today, about 18 years later, Hines travels the globe to spread hope to those living in pain due to mental illness, difficult life circumstances, and more.

“A Story of Suicide Survival” will take place Thursday, April 5, 2018 at 6:30pm in the South High School auditorium, 1801 Hollywood Drive, Pueblo, CO 81005. Doors open at 6:00pm, and local mental health resource tables will be available before and after the presentation. Hines will have a meet-and-greet session after his presentation and sign his memoir titled “Cracked, Not Broken,” which will be available for purchase.
