The Falcon Wanderers Walking Club invites you to participate in our Bear Creek Park Walk on Saturday, July 20, 2019. Come join us for some fun, fitness, and friendship at this non-competitive walking event. The walk is free and open to the public. The walk begins and ends at the El Paso County Parks Administration Building, 2002 Creek Crossing Street, Colorado Springs, CO 80905. The 6 & 10 kilometer (K) routes will be on Regional and Nature Trails within the park. Pets are not allowed for this event, due to the Nature Trails. Both the 6K & 10K trails are rated as moderate walks (3C), due to the uneven ground, altitude, and elevation gain. Walking sticks are recommended. Strollers and wheelchairs are not recommended. Walk start times are between 8:00 to 11:00am. Everyone walks at their own pace, but please plan on finishing your walk by 2:00pm. Restrooms are available at the start/finish.
