Pueblo’s 300 days of sunshine makes us a natural to benefit from all that free energy from the sun. It also makes us a target for unscrupulous contractors. Learn all the ways you can prepare to make this important decision. Find out how to make your home energy efficient first, before you go solar. Black Hills Energy and San Isabel Electric Association will inform the audience of the many rebates available and SIEA will demonstrate their new Quiet Cool Whole House fan which can lower your A/C costs by 50-90%. REOCA will discuss the Do’s and Don’ts of going solar. What should you ask a solar installer? Find out if you qualify for the 30% federal tax credit. Learn about various ways to pay for your system. Actual Solar owners will discuss their experience of going solar. The presentation will be followed by a Q&A with REOCA, BHE, and SIEA.
