Spirit House Comedy’s next stand-up comedy showcase will take place on Saturday, Aug. 24 at 9 p.m. Doors will open at 8 p.m. Anthony Crawford will be the headliner. Chris Wellman and Mitch Jones are on the bill. John Brown will be the host.

Crawford is from High Point, N.C. and resides in Denver. He can be followed at @crawfordcomedy, on Instagram and on Twitter. His videos can be seen on YouTube.

Wellman is a Denver-based stand-up comic. He is the host of Kink & Comedy every first Friday of each month at Denver’s Dangerous Theatre and was a guest on The Wheel Podcast. He can followed on Twitter at @CWellmanComedy and on Instagram at @mrsparklemuffin.

Jones is from Louisville, Colo. He is a two-time High Plains Comedy Festival performer, was selected to perform at Southwest Chief Bicycle & Comedy Festival and was co-announcer at “Lucha Libre & Laughs” at Boulder Taco Fest. In the past--Brown was part of Steel City Stand-Up and The Thompson Boys. He has hosted comedy showcases throughout southern Colo. and has been selected multiple times as a performer at Sareth-Fest Music and Comedy Festival in Pueblo.

Presale tickets are available for $5 at the The Downtown Bar and Spirit House. Tickets will be $10 at the door, on the night of the show.
