The Olde Schoolhouse Quilters will be presenting their 21st annual quilt show over Labor Day weekend. The quilt show will be open to the public August 29th through September 1st from 10:00-5:00 each day; the location is the old “Westcliff” schoolhouse, 320 South 4th Street in Westcliffe. During the show, tickets will be available for the 2019 raffle quilt, “Cielo de Noche.” The drawing for the raffle quilt will be held at 5:00 on Sunday, September 1st. There will also be a boutique selling quilts, clothing, home décor items, and much more, including quilt books and magazines.
In addition, there will be two other fiber-related shows of interest: The Westcliffe Art Quilters will be showing quilts following the theme of “Over the Top” at the Our Lady of the Assumption church hall, 105 South 5th Street; and the Wet Mountain Weavers will have weaving demonstrations and sales of woven clothing and home décor items as well as luxury yarn and fiber. The weaving show and sale will take place at Greenstone Artworks, 100 Main Street in Westcliffe.
