The Opening Reception of the 2018 Monochrome Photography Show will feature 76 juried photographs from 27 area photographers. The reception, which is free and open to the public, will be 6-8 p.m. Friday, September 7 at the Tri-Lakes Center for the Arts, 304 Highway 105, in Palmer Lake.

Colorado professional photographer Michael Snively will judge the Show, and awards will be presented at the Opening.

Snively is highly regarded for his emphasis on light and form, and is a strong advocate of mentorship as a learning tool for photographers.
