First Friday Art Walk Art Talk
Let’s Talk Animation, with 20-year veteran Disney animator Ellen Woodbury
Friday, Sept 7, 5:30 PM

Join us for a special First Friday Art Walk September 7 for a presentation by noted animator Ellen Woodbury. As an animator at Walt Disney Animation Studios, Woodbury brought to life many well-known characters, including Zazu, the hornbill in “The Lion King“, and Pegasus the flying horse in “Hercules“. She was a significant artist during Disney’s Second Golden Age of Animation and animated on all the contemporary classics from “The Little Mermaid“, “Beauty and the Beast“, and “Aladdin” to “Chicken Little“. She will be going through some of her work from "The Lion King" frame-by-frame during this lecture. Woodbury now resides in Loveland, Colorado where she pursues her sculpting career. https://ellenwoodbury.com/about-ellen/biography/
