The United States Air Force Academy Outdoor Recreation Center and the Falcon Wanderers Walking Club invite you to the Farish Recreation Area Walk on Saturday, September 22, 2018. The walk will start at the Conference Center at 12005 Rampart Range Road, Woodland Park. Come join us for an invigorating walk. Both the 5K (3.1 miles) route and the 10K (6.2 miles) route are rated 3B. Large-wheeled strollers can complete the courses with difficulty, but wheelchairs are not recommended. The elevation is 9,000 ft. This event is free and open to the public. Register to walk any time between 8:00 am to 12:00 pm, and walk at your own pace, but please finish by 3:00 pm. Restrooms are available at the start/finish. Leashed pets are welcome on the trail, but must be cleaned up after. Brats, hot dogs, chips and drinks will be available for purchase.
