Description:
Learn to weave on a rigid heddle loom using fabric strips and take home a finished table runner in this 2-day workshop. Beginner and experienced weavers alike are welcomed. This is also a great cross-over class for quilters. A wonderful way to use your fabric stash, or a great excuse to buy more ; )
Monday & Tuesday, September 23rd & 24th, 9:30-4pm
Class fee $65, materials fee $10, includes warp yarn, pattern, and use of loom
For students 16 years and older, minimum of 2, maximum of 4.
Bring to Class:
- Approximately 2 1/2 yards of flat fold fabric cut into 1-1 1/2" wide strips OR 1 standard sized jelly roll (40 strips) with strips cut in half. Try to have the strips cut before class. An Olfa mat and cutter will be provided in class if you need to cut additional materials.
- Tape measure
- Scissors
