Join Rocky Mountain PBS for a preview screening of the hour-long documentary "Colorado Experience: Fannie Mae Duncan."
Doors open at 6:00 p.m. with live jazz music from Barkeley Ave, the Fort Carson 4ID jazz band. Concessions will also be available.
Screening will start at 6:30 p.m. with Q&A with episode producer, Kate Perdoni, and honored guests, to follow.
Meet the inspiring Fannie Mae Duncan, an African American nightclub owner who brought the motto “Everybody Welcome” to true meaning at her Colorado Springs Cotton Club despite the volatile Civil Rights Movement of her day.
