Local photographer Linda Cates and painter Steven Mason will have an opening reception of "Cityscapes. Scenicscapes." on Friday, August 1, at Steel City Art Works, Pueblo, 5 to 8 p.m., 216 S. Union Ave. The show will run throughout the month.

The show will include Cates colorful architectural, city-based photographs of Pueblo. Mason's paintings will include a cozy world of country, flower-filled farms and other get-away settings.
