The annual Pueblo West Community Clean-Up will be held Saturday, September 27th from 8:00am to 1:00pm at the Pueblo West Public Works Department, 280 E. McCulloch Boulevard.

Tickets are on sale for a level pick-up truck load at $15 each. Seniors and disabled residents, without any means of delivery, may request curbside pick-up assistance by signing up when tickets are purchased. Deadline for tickets is Thursday, September 25, 2014 at 5:00pm. Bring ID showing Pueblo West residency to purchase tickets at the Pueblo West Metro District office during business hours (109 E. Industrial Boulevard) or at the Pueblo City-County Health Department, 2nd floor, Environmental Health Division, Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm, 101 W. 9th Street.

Pueblo West residents may dispose of tree branches and shrub trimmings, cut 6 feet or less, old scrap appliances, passenger tires (extra $2 per tire, limit 12), scrap lumber, mattresses and old furniture. Yard waste, such as leaves, weeds and cut grass must be bagged. Items not accepted are food, household garbage, bags of old clothes, household hazardous waste or liquids, TVs, computers, refrigerators, freezers or air conditioners.

This community event is hosted by the Pueblo West Women's League, with support from the Pueblo City-County Health Department and Pueblo West Metro District-Public Works.
