Pueblo Wolf Pack inaugural meeting
6:30 PM
Pueblo Rawlings Public Library, Thurston meeting room
Description:
The purpose of the Wolf Pack is to serve as a constant, consistent force advocating in their local areas for the recovery of wolves in Colorado. Wolf Packs will educate their local community about the nature of wolves and why Colorado needs wolves. There are many myths and misinformation about wolves. Through activities such as the showing of documentary films, guest speakers and visits by ambassador wolves, Wolf Packs will educate their communities about wolves and their importance to maintaining a healthy ecological balance on the Colorado landscape. Wolf Packs will advocate for the protection of any wolves that range into Colorado. This foundation-building of wolf support is important to be ready the next time a wolf or wolves enter Colorado.
