Looking for some insight about amateur astronomy? SCAS member Tom Northup will be hosting an Introduction to Amateur Astronomy class at the La Veta Public Library Thursday October 23rd beginning at 7pm. This experienced astrophotographer and amateur astronomer will show you how easy it is to get into the world of astronomy. After the lecture Tom will take you star gazing at the home of the Southern Colorado Astronomical Park located just outside of La Veta. This is open to everyone and free to attend.
