Artist’s Reception, Friday, February 2 from 5-8 pm

We set out to surround Valentine’s Day and the idea of “love” with a gallery show that will encompass the whole month of February. We put out an open call asking artists to submit images of their art that finished the phrase “Love and . . .” and had over a dozen artists respond. This work featuring concepts as varied as “love and rescue,” “love and finding the perfect partner,” “love and architecture” make up the work available in this show.

We will be featuring work from Ben Bires, Jean Cuchiaro, Abraham Eisenstein, Molly Harris, Marica Hefti, Arin Holecek, Cheryl Lafon, Dalton Martin, Laura Miller Maddox, Shirley Paterson, Suzi Reaves, Susan Tormoen, Jessie Unruh, and others. We have artists in this show who are exhibiting their work for the very first time alongside established, professional artists.
