Description:

This excursion is less of a hike and more of a saunter that stays primarily on our park roads with one goal - searching for butterflies. This is the 11th Annual Butterfly Count in the Pueblo Mountain Park, guided by Mark Yaeger of the Arkansas Valley Audubon Society. No experience is necessary. Bring close-focus binoculars and/or a digital camera if you have them (although they are not necessary) and be ready to see some of the park's prettiest fluttering residents.
