Trialogue Description:
Imagine a breath of ancient breeze stirring the fabled Aeolian strings, accompanied by the rhythm of distant thunder and the melody of gentle rain on your window pane, and you'll have an inkling of the subtle, sophisticated sounds of Trialogue: timeless music as old as the earth and sky, yet as fresh and new as tomorrow's sunrise. Featuring Sherry Finzer, award-winning multi-flutist and Heart Dance Records artist, playing concert C, alto and bass flutes; Darin Mahoney - luthier and guitarist, playing his self-built koa and cedar acoustic guitars; and Will Clipman, 7 time GRAMMY Nominee, playing a pan-global palette of drums and percussion. And Art Patience on Harmonica.
This genre-transcending trio blends the depth of classical discipline with the down-home soulfulness of American roots music and the percolating pulse of world beat to create an entirely original sound that is at once soothing and energizing. Trialogue recently was awarded Best Instrumental Album Acoustic 2016 at the Zone Music Reporter Awards Show.
Art Patience plays the harmonica in search of deep, meaningful melodies and expressive, soulful tones. He grew up playing the harmonica in the woods of the Northwest and his adult music career led him to perform for over two decades with world class Windham Hill pianist Scott Cossu. Boasting over 200 shows with Scott, they have played venues from the NW to Arizona including Jazz Alley in Seattle and The Sheridan Opera House in Telluride. Art recently released his first New Age harmonica album on Heart Dance Records label titled, "The Recognition" which is receiving acclaim on the international airplay charts, including NPRs "Echoes" program and the Zone Music Reporter.
