The exhibition entitled Sordid and Sacred: The Beggars in Rembrandt’s Etchings with selections from the Villarino Collection will be presented free today. The Villarino collection features 26 rare etchings by Rembrandt van Rijn (1606- 1669), executed between 1629 and 1648. In addition, a Rembrandt piece from the Harry & Karly Spell collection and a sampling of Rembrandt etchings from the collection of the late Dr. Ronald Moreschini will be displayed along with educational text about provenance and the art of collecting.
